Judge Luck is a dedicated public servant. He began his service as a law clerk to Judge Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He then served as deputy chief at the U.S. Attorney’s Office before being appointed to the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. At each stop, Judge Luck distinguished himself with his keen intellect, hard work, and good cheer. His career of public service deserves our support. Hope to see you on September 10!

Peter Homer asks Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal to affirm an order compelling former NFL player Terrell Owens to NFLPA arbitration

On March 18, 2014, Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal heard oral argument in the matter of Terrell Owens v. Drew Rosenhaus, et al.  Peter Homer argued on behalf of Drew Rosenhaus, Jason Rosenhaus, and Rosenhaus Sports Representation, Inc. that the Court should affirm the trial court’s order compelling Mr. Owens’ purported claims to NFLPA arbitration for the arbitrator to determine any issues of arbitrability and to decide all arbitrable claims.  Mr. Homer also argued that section 16 of the Federal Arbitration Act precluded the Court from entertaining Mr. Owens’ interlocutory appeal.
