Brian Lechich

Mr. Lechich has litigated extensively in state and federal courts and arbitration. His experience includes the successful litigation of hundreds of cases, including many through jury or bench trial and appeal. Aggressively, efficiently, and creatively, Mr. Lechich represents business interests in the areas of healthcare, medical device manufacturing, commercial landlords, and for-profit education. Mr. Lechich’s primary area of expertise involves the representation of banking and financial institutions in a wide variety of commercial disputes, from alleged fraudulent schemes to post-judgment collection and garnishment proceedings.

Litigation Highlight


  • Represented national bank and individual bankers in multiple federal cases seeking multi-million-dollar damages connected to Ponzi and other fraudulent schemes run by bank customers leading to dismissals and summary judgments entered in favor of the bank by the trial courts.

  • Represented foreign medical device manufacturer in two federal court litigations by international distributors seeking more than $27 million in damages for alleged fraud and breach of agreements, leading to dismissals of both cases.

  • Represented a national bank against $6+ million fraud, negligence, and Civil Rico claims by an international oil company, resulting in a jury verdict for the bank.

  • Represented creditor who obtained a $4.1 million summary judgment, affirmed on appeal, of non-dischargeable pre-bankruptcy debt.

  • Many years of experience representing a national bank in litigation involving retail and business banking issues, including claims for breach of contract and under various state and federal statutes such as the Uniform Commercial Code and the Electronic Fund Transfer Act.
