• Maria Acevedo’s practice focuses primarily on U.S. and multi-national corporate financing, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, licensing, complex commercial agreements, joint ventures and strategic alliances, with a particular emphasis on Latin American transactions.

• Ms. Acevedo represents companies in media, entertainment and technology sectors with respect to intellectual property matters, licensing of trademark, copyright and other content, and multi-jurisdictional brand protection and management.

• Ms. Acevedo also advises clients with respect to corporate governance, capital formation and reorganization, and foreign clients with respect to establishing a domestic presence and managing U.S. operations.

• Ms. Acevedo has extensive experience representing domestic and foreign underwriters and issuers in public and private securities transactions, and borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured credit facilities.
