At HomerBonner, we have learned that the best associates for our firm are those who want to work on the kind of high-quality litigation matters often found at big firms, but who prefer to do so in a close-knit environment where they can excel at their own pace without the rigid hierarchies and other pressures often found at larger firms. Unlike larger firms, we do not believe in layering cases with associates of various levels, so there is no line of associates between you and the senior attorney managing the case. Even our most junior associates work directly with the senior members of the firm. Consequently, our associates receive training directly from a seasoned attorney, not from a young associate.

Our summer law clerk program provides law students with an appreciation for what it is like to litigate as an associate at HomerBonner. Our summer law clerks receive meaningful assignments from all our attorneys, thereby gaining valuable insight from all levels of practice, i.e., from a first year associate through a senior member.
